What are dental veneers?
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of a tooth, very much as a false fingernail fits over a nail on the end of your finger.

In this painless procedure, your teeth will be prepared for the veneer(s), and then we will make an impression of the existing tooth/teeth. Next, you’ll choose a tooth veneer shade, and then we’ll fit you with temporary veneers while your permanent veneers are being prepared, so that no one will notice that you’re having your dental treatment done, and you can function normally.
2: The 2nd visit to attach the permanent veneer

Hi Emily, whitening the “non veneered” teeth is an extra charge – however it is certainly not advised to be done on the same session as you veneers, due to the increased sensitivity you may have due to the treatment. Any increased sensitivity of the gums should settle down by 2-3 weeks after treatment, but should not be aggravated during that time by chemicals used in the whitening procedure.
A good idea to to have a dental hygiene session before the veneer treatment with “airflow” so that you can bring all your teeth up to their original shade – maybe whitening wouldn’t be needed afterwards if the results of the hygiene session are good.
