Geri’s full mouth reconstruction

These are the words from our patient, who just completed a full reconstruction at Smile Clinic. As it can be seen on the Xray taken before the treatment, she had a couple of missing teeth and her own teeth were in a very bad condition. Unfortunately we couldn´t save her teeth, so we suggested a long term solution with dental implants. During the initial consultation, Dr. Marek explained the treatment involving 6 dental implants in the lower jaw with a full 14 point bridge and also 6 dental implants with a 14 point bridge in the lower jaw.

The treatment took a few hours during which Dr. Marek extracted the remaining teeth, did socket preservation in both jaws and placed the implants into the bone. The last step on the first visit was the temporary bridge to both jaws.

The healing period took about 4 months after what she came back for the impression. During this visit Geri chose the color and shade of her final crowns with the help of Dr. Marek.

The technicians needed around 4 weeks to complete her final bridge, and then everything was ready for Geri´s final visit. After the fitting of the new teeth she was very pleased with the final results.
